Trained by Miss Jennifer Ashby of Turning Heads, Nicole is now certified in Organic Hair Systems color and The Basic product line.

Her specialties include, creative coloring, traditional locs, Sisterlocs™, Precision Cuts, and Silk press. You can expect a relaxing experience using quality products in all of her services.

Sabine Bellevue is a trailblazing natural hairstylist and the visionary behind Sabine’s Hallway Natural Hair Salon, nestled in the heart of historic Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Sabine has dedicated her life’s work to celebrating, educating, and elevating the beauty and power of natural hair.
Her journey began with a deep passion for hairstyling and cultural pride, leading her to become a licensed cosmetologist and open her first salon in 2006—at a time when natural hair was still largely underappreciated in the mainstream. With an unwavering commitment to empowerment, Sabine built her salon as a safe space for education, transformation, and holistic care, expanding over the years to include health and wellness services that nurture clients from the inside out.
Sabine’s exquisite artistry and attention to detail have attracted high-profile clients and collaborations with top creatives, including Lena Waithe, Issa Rae, and other renowned artists. She has served as a keynote speaker, mentor, and workshop host at natural hair care events throughout the Tri-State area, pouring into aspiring stylists and uplifting the next generation of beauty professionals.
A certified Sisterlocks consultant, natural hair specialist, and hair loss expert, Sabine is a trusted voice in the natural hair community. Her work has been featured in leading publications such as The New York Times, Essence, Centric, and Braids & Beauty.
Inspired by her granddaughters and the stories shared by her clients, Sabine recently ventured into children’s literature, debuting her first book, Shampoo Day with Grandma—a heartfelt story that celebrates Haitian culture, natural hair, self-love, and intergenerational joy.
Her impact stretches far beyond the salon. Sabine is a dedicated community advocate, working closely with the NYC CPP Internship Program to provide high school students with real-world business exposure. She also volunteers with NYCares and Children of Promise NYC, consistently uplifting youth and underserved communities through mentorship and service.

Now based in Dallas, Texas, Daphney continues to serve Sabine’s Hallway clients with the same enthusiasm and excellence—working remotely without missing a beat. Her commitment to delivering high-quality support remains unwavering, no matter the distance.

Daphney’s dedication goes beyond day-to-day operations—she assists clients both on-site and remotely with inquiries, scheduling, consultations, and referrals. Her enthusiastic and thoughtful approach ensures that each guest receives exceptional service, contributing to the warm and professional environment that defines Sabine’s Hallway. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for excellence, Daphney plays a key role in maintaining the salon’s high standards of customer satisfaction.
